Dropped in with my car’s battery trying to die on me. I didn’t have an appointment but staff were very helpful and friendly told me to wait and as soon as they’re done with the car that was already being serviced they will be able to change the battery in my car.nThe engineer who serviced my car was very knowable, gave some good advice and was pleasant to talk to.nThe whole experience was smooth and stress free and I was in and out within an hour.nThank you to all staff that helped me out that morning!
Took a young boys bike for a check over. I knew it gears needed looking at.nPlease to say excellent service only charge for the new gear change
I went to pick up the bike that I had booked the slot for. Just to be told that the manager is doing the interview and it will be at least 20 minutes. When I explained that I couldn't wait that long, the young man at the counter shrug me off saying that it takes 15-30 to hand over the bike. When I asked why I wasn't notified, the same worker said that it was for GDPR reasons...nDear Halfords,nPlease actually do train your counter staff on basic GDPR rules, so they don't ridicule your company with the nonsense they think it is. After all, they do represent you.nAlso, don't book interviews if you have no one to serve. Not when you have appointments booked - this is basic courtesy.nIf you really have no choice but interview in the customer's booked time, let us know that you are too busy to serve. Our purchases make your profit margin. We would like you to respect that.nNow, let's see how the round two goes.
I walked in to Halfords- Chadwell Heath branch for a battery and headlight change and the job was done in record time, the young engineer was super polite and knowledgeable, he explicitly what needed to be done and recommended like for like battery alternative available in-store. I left a very happy customer.
Big thanks this morning to the friendly and helpful staff at Chadwell Heath Halfords' for keeping my car on the road and replacing 3 bulbs & for providing a professional service. Based on this mornings visit from walking through the door , the helpful security guard, the lady who served me and booked me in to the chap who replaced my bulbs, pleasure meeting you all. I would recommend Chadwell Heath Halfords to any and all of my friends and colleagues.
