Booked bikes in for check up. Dropped off, was told they would give me a call in 30 mins. Waited around the shops, no call so went home.nnWaited 2 more days, nothing.nnGot an automated email saying my ‘order’ had been cancelled.nnTried to call the store but no direct number available anywhere. Called the generic retail store number, no answer, went to voicemail, mailbox full.nnNext day tried virtual agent chat online. Not available, left my details, nothing back.nnTried again the next day, an live agent said he would need to pass it on to someone. Got a call the next day saying they would look into it. 5 days later get a call saying, ‘why did you want to speak to the store again?’!nnIt’s now been 10 days and I have no idea where my bikes are, what state they are in, or what’s happening.nnI just want an update on my bikes!!!!!!nnUpdate 7 June: call to say bikes ready to collect. I asked is any work needed on them, guy says you need to come in to discuss!! Then said if there are you need to take them back home and bring them back in a few weeks when a tech guy is around. I said forget it. I’ll go somewhere else. What an stupid company.

Just be aware....I got a car battery fitted a couple of years ago, at Halfords Uxbridge,which is now closed.nMy car stopped suddenly in the middle of a busy road. Breakdown service came out.nI now know the wrong battery was fitted in my car, not only was it not suitable for eco.use. but battery size was to small and the battery bar to hold the battery in place wasn't fitting. Why had I or mechanic not seem this before. My battery sits in the front well passenger side. So not visible.nI trusted that the right one had been fitted.nSo I won't be back , and we be advising family and friends of this disappointing and sadly surprising service. Hopefully Hayes is better trained.
Mr. Trevor was absolutely amazing! He helped me a lot with everything I needed. I was looking for an air conditioner and various equipment for cleaning cars, including both shining and water-based cleaning tools. Mr. Trevor was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the entire process. I truly appreciate his assistance. Thank you, Mr. Trevor. I highly recommend anyone to visit Hartford for their needs.
Sadly cannot give 0 stars!!! Very bad and unprofessional staff. Got high pressure washer and asked for it to be in package as it was present. They gave us display one with an empty box, when asked could they help us and box it they said they don’t know how to do it! After our unhappy comments they did started pack it up and then just left my husband there by the till to pack it up himself and clean dusty box, they just proceeded serve customers without finishing serving us and packing up our stuff! Rude, unprofessional and careless! Definitely won’t be coming back as this is display of all the qualities how business should not be run!!!
