went in for a free brake check as i could hear a constant squeak when braking - and they told me all was ok “just corrosion” ….turns out 80% of the rear brake pads are worn - according to the dealership. is it just incompetence guys or did you not do the check in the first place?
Can’t even change a tyre without wrecking the sill. Didn’t lift from jacking point and crumpled the sill. The jacking points on a Fiat 500 are clearly marked! Nonplussed and just said contact head office.
PLEASE AVOID THIS Halfords Autocentre Southfields ….. is so disappointing the way they treat their customers and the service they provided. I booked to get a Car FREE REPAIR CHECK as I have a Halford Motoring Premium Plan that offer that service. I walked in and I spoke to anGentleman who I told them I have booked an appointment at 11:30am for a free repair check…. The staff said no, is a safety point check only otherwise the REPAIR CHECK WILL COST YOU £49.99. Then I check the website and I showed the staff that is a FREE REPAIR CHECK and he said …. Anyways leave it and we will check for you, We will give you a call when is ready anytime before 5:30pm. I informed the guy that there is some noise in the front suspension side. He said we will check. Am at home and I realise is 5pm and they haven’t called me to pick up the car. I decided to make my way at 5:30pm and I asked if my car was ready and another staff who I did not see when I dropped the car, said that they car was ready since 2pm….. I asked him why didn’t you call me earlier… and his response was oh the phone and the internet are not working … then I see another staff using their land line speaking to someone on the phone that apparently was not working at all…. Also I asked what was the outcome of the repair check…. The Guy Repeated the same thing I said when I left the car. In other word I wasted my whole day off fromnWork that I’ve planned to get the car fix as I am extremely concerned about my family safety and my safety to get the car fixed. SO NOTHING WAS DONE … NO FREE REPAIR CHECK WAS DONE as part of the benefit of HALFORD motoring premium plan perk. COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED AS MY BROTHER AND FEW FRIENDS RECOMMENDED ME TO USE HALFORD AUTOCENTRE SERVICE.
I visited to replace two front tyres. I booked and paid online. The tyres were replaced within 2 hours and they did a great job, very happy with the quality of repair I received. Would visit again.
I gave my car for servicing and mention rare light need to update.. they did nothing and did the whole service very quickly and charge high prices.
