I booked my car in for a check on the air-con, with a possible leak or failed pump, according to KwikFit.nIt was recharged and a dye added to identify the possible leak.nIt lasted 24 hours before it was blowing warm air again.nBooked it back in and was told there was a leak in the condenser, that would cost £384 to replace, and a leak in the high pressure pipe from the compressor, but Ford only supplied such parts to Ford dealers so Halfords could not do the repair, and referred me to Dinnages local Ford dealernI don't like Dinnages and asked my local garage to check it out.nThey fully pressure tested the system and there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG with the air-con system.nIt appears the Halfords con system is working perfectly too.nI demand an explanation and a refund.nHarry LoomesnnEDITnnThe response below tells me to contact help.halfords.comnHas anybody tried it, AI generated questions and answers that just send you round in circles.nAI 'How can I help you'nMe 'I want to make a complaint'nAI 'Sorry I don't understand the question'nThe complaints system is as much crap as their motoring services.

Disappointing ExperiencennUnfortunately, my recent experience was not a positive one.nnI brought in my 2009 Citroën for an MOT and service. I was informed that the brake pads and discs needed replacing, and shortly afterward received a quote via email—over £1,000. I queried the cost, only to be told, “Yes, it’s a glitch in the system,” as labour had been significantly overcharged. While the excess charge was eventually removed, I’m left with little confidence. Had I not questioned it, I believe I would have been charged an unnecessary £300.nnWhen I raised this again in person, I was told, “We don’t see the invoice before it goes out,” with blame once again placed on the computer system.nnTo make matters worse, the wrong caliper was delivered, causing the first delay. Then, the MOT tester went home early, causing yet another days delay.nnIn total, I was without my car for five days. Had I been informed upfront that this would be the case, I could have made arrangements accordingly. Instead, I was repeatedly assured the process would be quicker.
