Had abit of panic as my mot was due the next day. Luckily for me a friend recommended halfords, I’m not great on computers but went online and booked my mot on the halfords website for first thing the next day with ease and for a great price!!! When I turned up in the morning the staff were brilliant had all the paperwork ready with my details, explained everything professionally and most importantly where very warm and welcoming 😊. My car was ready on time just as they said. The gentleman that served me gave me brilliant advice on my car and off I went! Great job guys! Won’t be going anywhere else in future

If I could leave no stars I would. 

I have never had such poor service and arrogant behaviour from a garage in my life. I have used Halfords over the last 6 years to service and mot all my cars and my wife's cars but never, never again. The garage used to be run well but now it is full of lazy dirty arrogant slobs who have zero pride in their work or appearance. 

Firstly I was booked in on the wrong day with no apologies from the "manager", then when I did finally get the car booked in, was told they wouldn't be able complete the service as parts may not be available.  As it happens they couldn't do it because they couldn't get the wheels off! The locking wheel nut key was "worn". As Halfords are the only garage to touch those locking wheel nuts it must have been them that mangled them. 

So I've been charged £ 289 for a "Full" service where they could not even take the wheels off to check brakes etc. I did ask them to put new tyres on too. They did not cancel the service light and they left the interior of the car filthy. I had to buy wet wipes to wipe down all the controls before I could drive it! Every control in the car had been altered, fog lights out on radio presets altered clock altered. 

Thanks Halfords. You'll never see me or my vehicles again. There are more deserving establishments that take a pride in their work.

First class service and 50% cheaper service than Mercedes dealers (Marshals group- South lakes). Would recommend everyone who gets overcharged by dealerships to try Halfords Auto centre.
