Poor service for fleet vehicles through Arvel. Dropped van off at 8.25am. Arrived at 1600 to pick up.... Not ready due to "wrong oil filter" all other cars non fleet completed. If they looked at it when I dropped it off, might not have a delay. Arvel must have approved the service as it was booked through them.... Poor. Never again. Now I have 2hrs drive home...

Very disappointed. The staff were all very rude and unfriendly apart from one young chap who seemed was the most polite out of the bunch.I took my car to get the wheels aligned and paid for it online but when the wheels were aligned the steering was completely off. I booked a second appointment to fix the steering and got charged a second time for the issue they caused in the first place. When I arrived it was very unwelcoming and I felt rather uncomfortable. Shocking customer service overall. Do not recommend. A more welcoming arrival would probably make a huge difference for the business.
Great garage. Helpful and friendly staff. Did my MOT at the time booked and was ready when I expected. Only down side is the limited car parking at site.
Decent for MOT. Wasn't aware they wouldn't be able to fix the problems on the MOT though. So I have to go to another garage and I think I may as well have just done the MOT at a garage that could do the welding. The MOT in of itself was easy and straight forward though. If you think you will pass, this is a fine place to go. But if you might fail, may as well go somewhere that could fix it.
Avoid this garage, I have booked major service, changed front tyres and 4 wheels alignment, and I asked to print out the report from wheel alignment just to be sure they will not skip it, they told me that in the moment can't print reports as they have some problem with the machine. I received my car with black fingerprints all over my white leather interior and as I was thinking they didn't touch the alignment at all and I must do it myself or go to another garage to do it. I wonder what else they skip to do, I must check the oil as well just to avoid unpleasant surprises.
Website for fit on the drive service needs code inserted to not allow customers order tyres too big for the van to fit, it wasted nearly 24 hours to me getting a punctured tyre fixed. To add insult to injury National tyre depots seemed unwilling / unable to pick the issue up and show customer service was king at Halfords owned businesses.
One star, because I can't give zero stars! Had an interim service prior to my holiday in France. Agreed to pay extra £116 for new diesel filter. In France, I stopped at a supermarket and, when I came out, there was a pool of diesel under the car! 4 of the 5 bolts on the fuel filter cover were loose! I tightened them and had no more problems, but what sort of cowboys think that it isn't important to tighten bolts! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
They done well on MOT and Service, but recommend to change break and battery. Even though they hang out as brand of Halfords but they didn't accept trader card for discount, and prices marked up, felt like rip offed.ServicesGeneral repairs & maintenance, Brake service & repair
MOT , done new tyre fitted, I have used this garage on a number of occasions and they are always friendly and helpful. Their prices are fair and I trust them not to try and rip me off, Highly recommend
