Its a nice looking place with plenty of rooms. Bar and food area looks good but didnt have time to try anything. Only downside is its next to a busy road and can be very noisy while trying to sleep. Plenty of parking available with a petrol station across the road.

Looks like this pub has recently changed hands so maybe make allowances for settling in. However, the seating in the main bar was so unconventional, being mainly large sofas with a low table, we  enquired whether food was actually being served in this room. There wasn't a huge choice of food but what we had was very good.

Stop for a quick light lunch, friendly staff. Lunch was good

Extremely expensive - we stopped off for a Sunday lunch. 3 small roast potatoes, 1 Yorkshire pudding and 3 small medallions of overcooked beef cost a ridiculous £15, with a diet coke costing another £3.20!

I don't mind paying that much for really good food, but sadly it was way below average.
