The staff and locals are just lovely. A place where everyone knows your name! Nice big meals. Traditional old pub opening hours. Wonderful.

Great place and good value . Friendly staff. I stay here a lot , the rooms are very comfortable, nothing is too much trouble. Great food, what more could you ask?

One night stay.  Not really up to much.  Breakfast was very basic.  Highlight of stay was the Talbot inn across the road.  Chantily cream Eton mess to die for.  Would we go back NO

I rented a room her for a week. Very cozy, a good spot to visit the surrounding area, and the staff are very pleasant.
