We had a lovely welcome on arrival and Craig’s customer service was superb. We felt we were treated like vip’s, nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed our meals and all were hot and tasty. We passed our compliments onto the chef, Hannah was our chef for the evening. Thank you to all.

Alicia and Louie were so great. Especially, dealing with my indecisiveness at the bar.nThey were both very efficient and knowledgeable about what beers etc they had.nFood was lovely.

Went here on a rainy day for lunch. Lovely clean and well presented pub with great range of food options 2 vegetarians and 1 meat eater in our party. Helpful staff and good range of beers all on offer. We had jacket potatoes x 3 which were great and came with a decent salad too. Wine, Pedigree and cup of tea too. All very reasonably priced too.

We often go to Half Moon as we consider your meals tasty and value for money. The periodic 30% off deals are an added bonus.nI work in a busy shop in Sherborne and when asked by visitors where they can get a decent well priced meal, I always refer them to Half Moon.

Came here today for my daughter’s birthday meal, very welcoming staff Liv was amazing! Food was delicious and prompt. Would definitely recommend to friends and family for a meal. All round great pub!
