A lovely course in very good condition with some unusual and challenging holes. Quite a tight layout and you need to keep your wits about you as multiple holes cross over. The signage could be a bit better as wasn't always clear where tee boxes were and where the greens were etc but there is a map on the scorecard. Very hilly so a bit of a workout at times but worth it for some stunning views. Greens were in top condition, the staff and members were friendly and the course was as well kept as anywhere I've played. A hidden gem that I'd love to play again and I'd recommend to anyone.
We had our mums Wake here back in Oct ..We really Couldn’t have choose a better venue .nStaff were so lovely and accommodating to our needs .nFood was beautiful everyone commented on how fresh and tasty it was lots of variety and plenty to feed our 70 guests.nWe would have no hesitation in recommending this venue for any occasion. Its old school steeped in history . We were lucky enough to have the weather on outside so had use of the patio which is absolutely stunningnThe Manager Lindsay was brilliant with us always available to chat and tweak our menu choices .nThank you for making all our family and friends so welcome and looked after, on such a sad day …
As a member I play here a lot, but it never gets any easier. Don't let the short yardage fool you, this is as tough a test of golf as you'll find in the Midlands. Very hilly, tight fairways with lots of trees and slopes to catch you out. You need to be accurate and patient!
Lovely location within the golf course and park. Nice food laid on for a function and a friendly welcome from the staff.
Went for a private function, food supplied good. The rooms could do with some TLC, staff friendly.
