Have been offered work at Baxter. Had a successful interview and have been offered the position right away. Information provided both by Baxter and Hales were contradictory so I tried to clarify those exchanging multiple email with multiple consultants who kept taking over the conversation. After several emails, the information were still not clear and when I firmly tried to get my answers they called me rude and cancelled my appointment before I even started not taking into the account that the company was perfectly happy with me assuming that I will be difficult to manage. I am an experienced worker having plenty of experience ce working with different agencies and have never encountered something like this! Diane , the person who cancelled my assignment ment and called me unruly and rude is no pleasure to work with even if its purely via emails. She left me in a position where I declined all other offers as had multiple successful interviews to be left with no job at all. The worst agency I had a chance to work with! Or... not work with...
I used Hales Group twice and was not let down. Was offered a job almost instantly. Professional, friendly and fast.
Went for an interview for a job via this agency before I was even registered which caused big issues and was given contradicting information by the agent about working hours/days that I was directly told by one of the managers at the job. Avoid.
When I was getting employed I was told that overtime is paid 1.5 and all breaks are paid. I even asked twice to double check and answer remained the same. I got told specific working hours at the company they were sending me to work for and assured breaks are paid and overtimes too. In reality, none of the breaks were paid, working hours were different to what Hales recruitment told me and overtimes were unpaid. Working conditions were very bad too. I would not recommend working through this agency as they lie to get you to work. In the end I had to chase them to get my holidays hours paid. Terrible recruitment company.
Jackie and her team at Hales Employment in Thetford are 1st rate. I expect all candidates to be vetted for suitability before they are sent down to me for an interview. I expect the candidates to be fully aware of the job role, rates of pay and our expectations of them. Hales Group deliver on all of these points, sadly not all other employment agencies are as diligent. I don't know about you but I much prefer quality over quantity. My biggest responsibility as MD of Simply Shutters is to employ the right type of person for the job. If I surround myself with the right type of people our business will become more successful and much easier to manage in the process. Hales in Thetford have always been extremely professional in sending over the personnel that they think will be just the right 'fit' for us. To not do so would just be a waste of valuable time and let's face it finding new permanent staff is a task we'd all much rather not have to do. Accordingly, we've built up a great relationship with Jackie and her colleagues over the years. If you want a friendly professional employment agency to take the hard slog out of finding the gem that will enhance your team, then I can't speak highly enough of this particular company. Worst possible agency. Pregnant lady in 21 weeks , had to chase them for 7 weeks for her money . They lie about everything, don't give information about jobs , don't even bother to answer the phone or email. Really hope someone is gonna take them to court, for all the money they didn't paid .
