One of the best customer services ever. Andrea the hostess was amazing greeting us making sure we were seated immediately then Oykum was grand in helping us choose our dishes. Food was exceptional - I’m not just saying this because of the free desert offer - it’s genuinely fresh and tastes exquisite. Very lively and calm ambience.
I just ordered delivery from Hala for the first time. Though it's pricier than Gokyuzu next door, the quality seems superior so far. The packaging was really well done, with nothing spilling out. You can taste the quality of the meat, and both the Meze and Lahmacun are absolutely delicious. I'm looking forward to trying more of their dishes!
Hala Restaurant, known for its authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, offers a delightful dining experience that immerses guests in rich flavors and warm hospitality. Located in a bustling area, the restaurant features a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere, adorned with traditional decor that reflects its cultural roots.nnThe menu is extensive, showcasing a variety of dishes from appetizers to main courses. Popular starters include the mezze platter, which offers a delightful assortment of hummus, baba ganoush, and tabbouleh, perfect for sharing. The freshness of the ingredients is evident, and each dip is packed with flavor.nnFor main courses, the grilled meats are a highlight. The mixed grill platter, featuring tender kebabs and juicy shawarma, is especially recommended. Each piece is marinated to perfection, resulting in a smoky and savory taste that pairs wonderfully with fragrant rice or warm pita. Vegetarian options, such as the stuffed grape leaves and falafel, are equally satisfying, ensuring that there’s something for everyone.nnDesserts at Hala are not to be missed. The baklava is a standout, with layers of flaky pastry and sweet honey syrup that provide a perfect ending to the meal.nnService is attentive and friendly, with staff eager to provide recommendations and ensure a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant’s reasonable prices further enhance its appeal, making it an accessible choice for both casual diners and special occasions.nnOverall, Hala Restaurant is a gem for those seeking genuine Middle Eastern flavors in a welcoming environment. Best lamb Ali nazik. Best manti. Best pide. Best yogurt soup. This place just bursts with flavours. Probably best Turkish Restaurant in London
The food was quite good. We started with the manti dumplings which were tasty, a bit hot, bit cold from the yogurt sauce. The chargrilled onion had more of a bite than it should and was quite acidic for my taste. For the mains, we had the lamb shish and Adana kebab—both very tasty. It was nice that the restaurant offered different portion sizes: small and large. The mains came with a choice of salad and either white or bulgur rice, or both. The restaurant has three seating areas: on the street, in the main room, and in a more secluded space at the back. However, the space felt a bit too large and lacked character. Service was polite and attentive.
