I have been coming here to Hair Discovery for my hair colour , cut and extensions for years and I cannot recommend them  highly enough!! Angelina is the most talented colourist I have ever been to and consistently produces amazing results. I am always being complimented on my hair colour! 
   without doubt this is the best salon in London for hair extensions. Diana is a true artist in her craft and is amazing at what she does. She makes them look so unbelievably natural! My coworkers and friends said to me: "Wow, you're really growing your hair long!" I HIGHLY recommend Hair Discovery  to anyone looking to get hair extensions, hair cut or hair colour!

I've had an increasingly awful customer experience here. I showed a photo of a blunt shoulder length bob and rosé ombre colour to Diana which should have been straightforward and ended up with over 11 hours in the chair, and varying degrees of bad results:

1. First sitting - All over highlights of ginger and pink streaks
2. First correction - Full head of dark toner to cover up the incorrect bleaching and colour, which resulted in dark red hair

I was offered a 'free' treatment for the trouble, which was a poor consolation prize given that the treatment had already been washed out by the correction toner.

Subsequently, the toner washed out after 2 days, revealing the bad bleach job.

3. Second sitting - Top half redyed to slightly darker than natural colour. Bottom half rebleached. Ombre is uneven with 3 inch difference from right side of the head to the left side. A mistake in the bleaching has left a 'stripe' across the back of the hair.
4. Second correction - Retoned for colour correction

After a few days I realised I could not live with the mistakes and emailed the salon with photos of each stage of the process, including ones from the salon (available to view on Google Reviews). I received a reply from Angelina saying she would look into it and then another a few days later saying she hadn't had a chance to investigate. My appointment was on 18 October. On 14 December I had another email from Kevin saying that as it's a busy time of year they haven't had a chance to respond, but "haven't forgotten" to get back to me.

I requested a refund for the colouring portion of my fee to have my hair corrected elsewhere, but I have yet to even receive an acknowledgement of the mistakes that were made, even having provided photographic evidence whilst sitting in the salon.

What a simply terrible place to have your hair cut, and dyed a colour you did not want, and have them not fix it or resolve the issue.
