Super castle to explore. Great walk along the river from East Linton too
Well worth the stop off if you're anywhere near it. Be stunning on a summers day down by the river or in the grounds.

Beautiful ruin, in peaceful location, beside the river Tyne. But be aware: it's a very narrow, twisty road to get there. Free admission to the site, with some parking places. In the care of Historic Environment Scotland.
Well kept grounds and free to visit. Lots of open air spaces which make it perfect for distancing. The only downside is that the car park is very small.
Great free place to visit with young kids, couple of rooms to explore with a few walls etc and plaques on walls describing the rooms. River just beside it with what appears a walk you can do. Parking is limited
Love this place. Such a beautiful hidden gem. Free to explore, idyllic place for a picnic if the weather is right.
This was one of my daughters favorite castles. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside. It's absolutely picturesque!

This is a stunning castle to visit. Can be difficult to park if lots of cars there. There is no official car park so take care parking at the side of a fairly narrow road. Beautiful setting. Please respect the building. Thanks
