The food was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. On arrival the staff confirmed our online booked table, asked for drinks order and sat us down. We ordered food after a short period. The staff were very kind to ask us if we would like some tap water for the table. This is very rare at most places as we normally have to ask. Food portion sizes were huge so great value for money.

Lovely country restaurant. Very high standard of food. Delicious! Very good service. Good choice of food on menu. Beautiful surroundings. Perfect for any special occasion.

Cosy pub with real fires, comfortable seating ,good range of beers and other drinks. Great menu with some interesting offerings on the daily menu. The pigeon breast on beetroot risotto was a triumph. They also serve good coffee.

This is an absolute pearl of a place! The menu looks fantastic it is a beautiful old world pub in gorgeous grounds. It is also dog friendly which is a huge bonus. Definitely a must-go eatery with friendly staff and roaring fires. What more does one need?

Nice meal quite a limited menu and their app and website are not up to date with the menu. I was looking forward to leek blue cheese and potato soup but it wasn't on the menu when we arrived. Very good service. Portion sizes vary my chicken was very small but my husband's lamb as enormous. Lovely deserts.
