Excellent grounds for a family picnic. There are rides, but it's not necessary to pay for those as the park is free. There is delicious soft serve ice cream, but the queue is long on a hot day, as you might expect. However, that queue is nothing compared to the queue inside at the Courtyard Cafe. Getting a coffee was a no go. Take your own.
Awesome hidden gem of a place. Set in a beautiful rural countryside setting there is something for everyone. From tree top climbing to a stately home, we'll worth a visit I'm sure you won't be disappointed. The only downside I found was irresponsible dog owners who don't pick up after their dogs.
A wonderful day out with lots of little play areas and beautiful walks. The train ride charges a donation and is lots of fun. Brilliant play park for both older and younger ones with a sand pit play area.
We had a great day out here, so clean and the staff were very helpful. Plenty of activities to keep the kids occupied, high ropes, minature golf, great play area, plenty of benches for us older ones, lovely pond with lots of ducks and the fish joined in as well. The cherry blossom was lovely to admire and plenty of walking trails. We will be back for a longer visit next time.
Not been to haigh hall since my daughter's where young, couldn't believe how much it's changed. We took our grandson and he loved it, he even went into the wooded area with some other children and built a den. We took a picnic and sat at the tables. We didn't go into the cafés but they they looked really nice, the courtyard area looked lovely. Would definitely go again, it's a pity the miniature railway only runs on a Sunday though.
Came down for Dino day. Kids loved it. Park was easy to find, easy to park up. Cafe and toilets were clean. Decent coffee and food served. Dino day event was good.
A lovely spot for a day out with kids. A great playground, a nice simple orienteering course, and a decent quality mini golf course with fun water features and informative facts about the place. Lots of picnic benches dotted around including a few wheelchair accessible ones.
Loads of different paths, wooded areas, mini golf, park & gardens. Family/dog friendly. Just a shame all the shops in the court yard weren't open and the one shop that was, only had Soya milk as a dairy free alternative. Pretty poor
Great place for a walk, lots of activities available for kids, you can extend your walk along the canal nearby as well. Car Park £1.50 for the day which is reasonable.
This is a lovely place to visit, massive, good for families, presence of play ground for kids, golf, allow pets. Paid parking, presence of kitchen for meal if you want to eat out, stores to buy crafted items. It's good place to go if you love nature view.
