Had a wonderful stay here as a family - can’t wait to go back! Hosts were friendly and informative - even let our toddler help with feeding the lambs! The safari tent felt luxurious and was perfect in size for us and two little ones. Lots to do in the local area, with The Newt within walking distance and some lovely National Trust sites nearby - then follow it up with a BBQ in the sunshine on the decking outside your tent - perfection!
Beautiful location and plenty of space for children and adults to explore. The hosts are friendly and always ready to help the needs of their guests. The accommodation is brilliant and the beds are so comfortable, I’ve not slept that well in a long time. There are plenty of local attractions and the proximity to The Newt is ideal for a day out and no need to do any driving!
We recently got back from a 3 night stay at Hadspen Glamping and would 100% recommend it to others. The location is brilliant, so relaxing. The safari tents have everything you need, the beds were comfy and it remained cosy and comfortable of an evening. The owners are super friendly and helpful and have great local knowledge! We had a great day out in Wells and at The Newt, both a must see when staying.

We visited Hadspen Glamping for a long weekend with our 3-year-old and baby. Lucy and Rob were so friendly and welcoming, they made our stay so relaxed, we truly felt at home here. The team at Hadspen Glamping provided us with a mobile number to contact should we have any issues or wanted any tips about the local area. The site is lovely, with 3 large tents and plenty of space around the tent so it feels private. The views from the tent we stayed in were fantastic too, we spotted lots of local wildlife from our decking. The tents were incredible, it made camping feel so easy. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is also a BBQ on the decking. The log burner kept the tents lovely and warm and there is a full bathroom, with sink, loo and shower which was so nice! The beds and sofa were super comfy and there was plenty of storage for your belongings. Our 3 year old thought it was the best adventure ever. The site itself is a short drive from the local town, Castle Cary, which has lots of little shops and pubs. It is also a short walk from The Newt with its impressive gardens, deer walks and cyder tasting. We also visited Stourhead National Trust Gardens which is around 20 minutes away. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a glamping experience in the somerset countryside!
