Great park, well kept with tarmac paths to follow. Can be hilly in places.
This park is a hidden gem for nature lovers and dog owners. It offers the perfect blend of well-maintained spaces and natural beauty.nThe numerous paths and open areas make it ideal for long walks, and my dog absolutely loved running around freely. Whether you're looking for a peaceful spot surrounded by flowers or a more open space, there's something for everyone to recharge and connect with nature.nThe park and nature reserve are clean and nicely organised, showing great maintenance care. There's a car park close to Haden Hill House, which reminds me that I need to visit the museum there soon!nIf you're seeking a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle, Haden Hill Park is more than worth a visit. It's a tranquil oasis, a great place to 'load your batteries' through contact with nature.
Besutiful always but especially lovely in the winter sunshine. Beautiful scenery and great walks. Lovely early signs of spring today in a later visit than the winter views. There was an interesting outdoor art exhibition too. New since my previous visit: on going work on one of the bowling greens. It looks as though it's going to become a formal garden.
Great place for everyone, the museum is open on Sundays and the volunteers are a lovely helpful bunch, there is a toddler playground and also a bigger outdoor play area could do with TLC in my opinion there is a large duck pond if you follow the park path down hill and lots of open space for football, picnics dogs ect, if you venture further past the duck pond you'll enter Congreve's nature reserve where you'll find a stream that runs adjacent to the main path there is also a car park for Congreve's nature reserve. We visit once a week all weather.
Beautiful park,stunning this time of year.nDogs love it too,the owners are friendly,good to chat and greet people as you pass by.nMet a lovely couple yesterday who gave me a hand made crochet Poppy,I will make a donation to The Poppy Appeal.
