Hi friends,nnI want to share my experience with H2 Catering Equipment Company, which unfortunately has been very disappointing.nnOn January 11, 2024, I paid for a brand new Tefcold SC381 upright fridge. Upon receiving it, I immediately noticed an unusual noise from the top fan. I informed the company right away, but my concerns were consistently ignored.nnAs I feared, within six months, the fan started making loud noises and eventually, I had to switch off the fridge. For nearly a week, I sent emails requesting a repair. According to the company's terms and conditions on their website, “Any repair work carried out by non-approved engineers or staff not authorized by H2 Products Ltd or the equipment manufacturer will void the appliance's warranty.” Despite this, they refused to send a technician to do the repair.nnI chose this company because their price was £15 less than other companies. In hindsight, this was a bad choice. Based on my experience, I would never recommend this company to anyone.nnUnfortunately, I cannot upload videos here, but if I could, I would provide visual evidence of the issues.
Bought a display fridge here 2 years ago. It failed this week so I had engineer out to inform me the evaporator was faulty, these things happen. The engineer contacted H2 catering where the fridge was purchased and was informed there was 3 MONTH ! Wait for the part. Then to add insult to injury they quoted £650 to airfreight !!nNo matter what their reply is these are the facts. My advice would be to pay maybe a little more but go somewhere that supplies a good quality fridge that can be repaired. I’ve just wasted almost £2000
H2 and their staff really stepped up to the mark, when other companies promised the goods but then let me down. H2 really showed what a good company y can do. Staff truly helpful and the value of the goods was more than acceptable. Would go straight to them in future. Thanks to them.
Great first experience with them buying a counter top fridge. Second time using them got wrong information about the power supply for the fryers. So when they arrived they did not work and we had to get electricians in to change it all. The fryers are not very user friendly. But that’s the manufacturers designs flaw not H2.
H2 really saved the day. We ordered from two competitors but the items did not come in time due to stock and damage. H2 will be my preferred supplier going forward. if I could review 109 stars I would. Really great company.
