A really great place to eat. First visit here today. Great service from start to finish. Food and drinks were amazing. Service was fast. Greeted by a member of staff on the door who explained there would be a wait on food as they were waiting for more staff to come in. This wasn't a problem for us. We ordered drinks and food and hardly waited any time before it all arrived. Lovely, fresh and super hot food. Beautiful views across the bay. Staff very attentive and aware of the ever changing weather conditions. If you choose to sit outside they have an automatic rolling roof which will save you from the rain. Can't praise this place enough. Looking forward to my next visit.
Best food in Falmouth! Their little cafe attached to the restaurant bakes fresh bread which is to die for. All the food is incredible, absolutely nothing to fault. Service is excellent and friendly staff. Thank you for the great times! X
Don’t have high expectations… but pleasantly surprised at how good this place is, would definitely visit again and recommend. Even the sandwiches were very good and a pretty big meal. Pleasant service - order and pay at the bar could do with a sign to say so. About ten tables outside, the rest inside.
Great service, even though it was busy. The staff are super friendly. Dogs are welcome outside and the food it's really nice. We are down here for the week and will be going back. Beautiful views of the beach.Food: 4/5
The usual dispiriting English "welcome" of no-one at the door, and with two members of staff wandering around inside. No acknowledgement or greetings until we approached them and asked "How does this work?". Usual total rubbish English standard of service in that we find a table, peruse a menu which wasnt given but had to be asked for and then have to go to a counter to order, with our table number. To be fair, food came quickly and was well cooked, but arrived without cutlery... This type of lack lustre "service" is becoming tiresome yet is evident in so many places. How hard can it be to get the basics sorted? Greet customers, be available and approachable, provide what's needed without customers having to ask.. Oh, and don't charge £60 for 4 breakfasts. It's not that price in London. Vegetarian options: There is also vegan option, but it's not listed. Why?
Service was very quick, and breakfast was nice as was the coffee. The view was beautiful and it was lovely and quiet early on a sunday morning.
We been to the cafe during the day and had fish and chips the fish was beautiful the chips was ok but too crunchy for us On a Sunday they do a Sunday evening dinner which was nice the meat was a bit too red for me but they cooked it a bit more for me and the veg selection was a bit different even for my wife all cabbages and no peas but we both cleared the plate drinks were nice and the food area was clean even after the day beach traffic Prices were a bit on the dear side but the food and service was good One other thing I did not like was when you pay for your meal at the bar when you ordered it asked for a tip which I did not like not because I don’t tip I do but asking for this before you had your meal and not been served it wrong to ask for the tip before should be after as I would have given more Photos of fish and chips during the day and photos of the evening food and drink
Food was really lovely. Front of house were great . Until I popped back to get a towel we left !!!! Very rude cook said you can't go that way. I said could somebody get a towel I left. No just go round the front and sanitise..... please and thank you must be extra !!! And I gave a tip aswell.....should of gave him a tip about manners !
It's been a long time since we were able to visit Gylly cafe. What can I say. A sheer delight still. We had a wonderful breakfast. The best of local produce, cooked really well and with friendly staff. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. We will be back again soon. Thanks foe a great start to a Thursday.
Excellent food in this lovely place on the beach. Great service too. We would definitely visit again.Food: 5/5
