What an extraordinary beach. Easily the best dog beach I've visited in the UK. Nice sand, lots of space, calm waters, fantastic rock pools. Car parks cost £2.50 for 4hrs, or £4 for the day. Earlier you arrive the closer you can park, but there's a monster flight of stairs to get down to the beach. We'll worth it regardless. Even the view from the car park is worth the drive.
Absolutely. Stunning. Crystal clear water and soft sand. DOG FRIENDLY!! Wonderful rock pools to explore with hidden lagoons to laze in. Car park at the top run by lovely guy, £4 for all day. You can use his tap for water and has toilets there are no amenities down at the beach. Long-ish walk down so don’t forget anything but the views are spectacular. Doggo loved running free chasing her ball digging in the sand and paddling in the sea and rock pools. Feels like you’re abroad - best beach we’ve been to- had it all! Photos really don’t do it justice!
Outstandingly beautiful stretch of sand flanked by dramatic cliffs. It's one heck of a descent/climb so watch what you are carrying. Tide is strong, with crashing waves perfect for surfing but not so much for the little ones, often has lifeguards, parking up top is a good price. Lovely walks available along coast. It's basically perfect.
Beautiful sandy beach with wonderful rock pools to explore. We walked here from Sennen Cove beach on the coast path which took around 20 minutes.
Lovely sandy beach, dogs are aloud, which is wonderful just follow the rules. Good surf
A dog friendly beach reached by steps down from the car park. We took our time going back up!
Very nice beach. Lovely and friendly car park up the top then a steep walk down to the beach so won’t be for everyone’s tastes. Dog friendly all year round for those who can’t get on to Sennen - but be warned it’s a thigh-burning hike back up to the car park. Well worth it though as it’s a good sized west-facing beach so on it’s day as beautiful as anywhere.
The walk down to the beach is a steep one which means so is the climb up after a day on the beach with all your gear! However the views on the way down are stunning and once you are there the sand is lovely and the waves ideal for surfers and body boarding. Life guards were on duty whilst we were there and were constantly watching the currents and moving the flags to indicate swimming areas. Lovely spot which we were able to enjoy with our dogs, being a dog friendly beach.
Absolutely beautiful! One of the best beaches we've been to. Great views and dogs are allowed.
Beautiful quiet beach. The path is steep and difficult but well worth the peace and beauty. Not suitable for those with limited mobility.
