Friendly staff at this lovingly rebuilt from next to nothing railway. Beautifully restored locomotives and comfortable rolling stock to complement the views when travelling along the line. Well worth a visit whether for a short journey or the whole day. A credit to everyone at the railway.
A gentle ride from Cheltenham Race course to Broadway which took over an hour. All the volunteers whether on the train or at the stations were friendly, courteous and well informed. All the stations are very pretty and have well maintained gardens. The station toilets were immaculate.
My first visit today to a fabulous railway in a beautiful setting. Stations along the route have food, book stores and information. All was clean and well kept
Amazing railway, really well kept, superb trains, great comfortable carriages, brilliant people, lovely beautiful stations, with immaculate flowers. Couldn’t rate it highly enough
Wonderfully well renovated and looked after piece of great English heritage. Absolutely delightful experience on a very wet and windy day in December.
We brought our son along for the Santa Express during the snow/ice. We had a fantastic time,it was made extra special due to the weather. Everything was centred around the children, coming through the tunnel and arriving at the North Pole was such an experience - I can highly recommend the Cumberland sausage roll when you stop after seing Santa. Massive thanks to all the volunteers at GWR for the effort they put in
So lovely, like stepping back in time. The grounds are really well kept, friendly staff!
Took 10 disabled students over 2 days on the Santa Express. The staff went above and beyond to help make their experience a pleasant memorable one. Definitely recommend it.
Went from Cheltenham to Broadway on the steam train with my family. Such a brilliant day we had. Ended up in the cafe at Broadway. Such lovely staff and very helpful too. Thank you for a great day.
Great place to spend time leisurely going through country side. Stations have placed to get food & drink. Volunteer staff all friendly & helpful. Will revisit later in the year
