My son and I were staying at St Ives Bay holiday park and drove the three or so miles out to this place. Their web advertising said they were open from 10am and we arrived at 11.30. The car park was a somewhat scruffy area right outside a bungalow with a cement mixer and other detritus and the HQ of the golf business was a wooden shed. A sign in the window said it was closed. An older gentleman appeared from the bungalow and explained that the owners of the golf business had gone out and we wouldn't be able to play. He was very apologetic and his efforts alone secured this 2 star review. It's pretty annoying when people start a business and promote it online but can't be bothered to be open during advertised times. This wasted our time and diesel and caused my son disappointment. We quickly decided to just drive back to Hayle Golf and played a lovely 12 holes there, a well-run and professional business that treated us with courtesy and valued our custom.
Turned up during opening times, sign even said they were open but no one was there and shed was locked up! Not good hospitality! Waited 20 minutes as we thought they may have just popped out but alas no luck. Their loss! Will spend money elsewhere!
Arrived during advertised open hours to find no-one there. Bell and phone number rung to no answer. Waited for 15 mins then gave up. Very disappointing. Next time I'll bring my own equipment and wander onto the course.
Great day, great staff. We're able to accommodate a stag party. We all enjoyed ourselves very much. Will be going again soon, I'm sure.
Brilliant fun pitch and putt. More interesting holes than others I've played round here. Great breakfasts. Nice owners.
