I have attended multiple family funeral services at Gwent crematorium, with the most recent being yesterday.nnEach and every service I have attended here has gone very smoothly, aiding enormously at such difficult times.nnThe venue is very nice and the grounds are beautiful, peaceful and well-kept.nnThere is plenty of parking on site, with a very small number of disabled parking spaces these fill up very quickly, so early arrival is recommended.nnThe venue is very wheelchair friendly, with the main entrance being level and ramp access to the rear the exit. Inside the venue, two of the beautiful, oak benches are shorter than others, allowing wheelchair users to sit alongside others in a dedicated space for wheelchair users.nnOne slight criticism is that the main television screen at the front of the chapel is quite small - making is difficult to see the visual tributes on screen. A larger screen would definitely be beneficial.nnNote: I haven't personally arranged a funeral here only attended, therefore I'm unable to comment on that aspect of things.
Husbands funeral here this week. Excellent service, Crematorium very good, clean and gardens amazing. Only bad comment, the picture screen is too small, our relatives in Australia couldn’t see the photos on the website stream.
Such a restful place to visit my parents memorial plaque and leave flowers. Sometimes walk my dog along the Old Mile and justnpop in with or without some flowers. I recently attended the funeral of my ex husband and as usual everything was handled so well and with utmost care and efficiency at the crematorium.

It was ten weeks ago today I and the family were here to bid farewell to my father. Everything went very smoothly. The gardens and the general area are exceptionally well looked after. On a cold, windy late morning, a difficult time was made considerably more comfortable by the efficiency and professionalism of the staff here. To all of you, diolch yn fawr
