We absolutely LOVE this restaurant! We discovered it by accident, but have been back many times. The food is delicious, with tasty curries, lovely meat and veg dishes, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Wait staff is brilliant! Cheerful and very accommodating. I love the cloth tablecloths and napkins, and a hot, moist towelette at the end of the meal. Moderate prices for what you get. Fills up quite fast so is best to book a table ahead of time. You can also order takeaway from this location.

I recently visited this restaurant where we had great food. A variety of starters and a traditional lamb and chicken curry dish. Foo great. Service great. Beer great. Would deffo recommend.

It was very clean and the staff worked flat out to serve quickly and make sure that everyone was served on time. THE ghurka palace is well known by the locals and visitors alike and has large parking facililities and quite a large restaurant. Prices are reasonable and good value. Most people have a very high opinion of this restaurant. Personally I find the repetetive sauces in these Indian style restaurants rather lack lustre but many people are glowing in their praise for the food they have eaten and the perfect service they have received. I have never had the temerity to ask for English food in an Indian restaurant but imagine that I would find the food to be good quality. And feel this is very traditional food for my family. It has a good reputation so you can't go wrong to book a meal there at a reasonable price.

We went to the Gurka Palace yesterday the 30th of March. What can I say from the moment we went in the door we was looked after. The service was great the food was better than brilliant and have not got one bad thing to say about the place. We recommend the Gurkha place 100% for a great time.

First visit for a few years and have to say all of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Good, tasty food and decent service, attentive without being invasive. Really enjoyed the MOMO starter. Will definitely go back soon.
