Sri Guru Singh Sabha Southall – Divine & Beautiful nnVisiting Sri Guru Singh Sabha in Southall was such a soulful, peaceful and blessed experience From the moment I stepped inside, I felt calm, warmth and pure spiritual joy all around me. The Kirtan is absolutely divine — listening to the holy hymns filled my heart with love, peace and deep connection, it was so beautiful and soothing nnAnd the Langar — oh wow, it was wonderful! The food was so delicious, fresh, full of love and served with such respect and kindness. Eating together in the free community kitchen is such a beautiful, equal and heartwarming tradition — everyone sits together, eats together, and feels like one big family. It tasted like pure blessings nnThe whole place is so clean, sacred and welcoming. The atmosphere is full of devotion, kindness and Waheguru’s grace. Whether you come to pray, listen to Kirtan or enjoy Langar, every moment here feels special and holy. It’s not just a place, it’s a home of peace, love and unity. I left feeling light, happy and truly blessed. nnThis is one of the most beautiful Gurdwaras I have ever visited — truly a gem in Southall. I will definitely come back again and again. 5/5 – A Place Where Humanity Lives 24×7 nThe Gurudwara of Southhall is not just a spiritual place — it’s a living example of seva, compassion, and humanity. What touched me the most is their 24×7 free food Langar facility, open for everyone without religion, caste, or age boundaries.nnHere, nobody asks who you are… they only ask “Langar khāoge?”nThe warmth, discipline, and pure service mindset truly make this Gurudwara divine.nnIf you ever want to experience real humanity and unconditional giving, this is the place.nHighly recommended. nnIf in South Hall must visit....anytime in a day
I am extremely disappointed with the current state of this Gurdwara. The hygiene standards are unacceptable; the men’s toilets were filthy, with urine covering the floor and no evidence of a regular cleaning schedule. In the main prayer hall, there is no underlay beneath the carpet, making it feel as though you are sitting directly on concrete, which is incredibly uncomfortable during services.nThe management of the facility and its finances is also concerning. There is constant begging for donations throughout the service, yet the building is poorly maintained. Several light fittings in the langar hall are loose, posing a safety risk.nFurthermore, the scheduling is chaotic. They cram four events into the same window just to generate the most money possible, with each event paying over £1,200. Despite this significant income, there is a total lack of investment in basic repairs and cleanliness. It feels as though this Gurdwara has become a business rather than a place of worship. While many staff members are present, they seem to do very little to address these glaring issues. Significant improvements in transparency and maintenance are required.
