Wonderful place to have a great breakfast to start the day! They propose a large range of tea!
Good neighbpur seat for breakfast, hang out with friends or take a book for hours reading! Provide decent and down to earth menu
Just ordered a fruity tea and waffles for breakfast. It was delicious! Great service and almost no waiting time. Although I don't consider waffles as breakfast let's face it. It is basically a dessert with all that sweetness this was a pleasant and sweet way to start the day.
Lovely warm and friendly atmosphere. Great coffee very reasonable prices. Spotlessly clean . If I was being picky the scones could have been fresher but overall a great wee place and we will definitely be back.
Loved the decor, open plan at road side windows for a more relaxed feel and train carriage style booths at rear for a more cosy setting good choice of food on menu something for everyone and well priced. Excellent for meeting friends or holding hands.
Visited Gullivers yesterday for first time, cafe looks great and very warm from the outside in but when inside things just appear a little sparse and awkward unless you have one of the booths up back. The initial seats we sat at had leftover food sitting from the previous customers not sure how long it was sitting and this continued to sit at our table for around 5 minutes before we decided to move table to another which was hidden round back. At no point did staff offer menus or so much as say hello however as there were only two at the counter perhaps they were short staffed for a weekend. Regardless we picked up the menus and the lovely waitress shortly came around and took our order with a smile. The food arrived shortly after unfortunately the cup was dirty at the top therefore I chose to drink from the can, the food itself was great as was the mocha my partner had so no shortcomings there although we'd have liked to have been asked or offered sauces. We approached the counter and found ourselves waiting uncomfortably to be served as Stefan was distracted stood several minutes staring out the window at a ladies car being taken away on the back of a flatbed for what I suspect may be parking violations. Fortunately the waitress/barista grabbed his attention as the queue was forming and she continued to service us. Despite the service shortcomings the food and drink were good. Not the worst experience but much room for improvement.
Just another quirky styled pointless coffee shop. Looks good on the inside, some nice decor touches like the "train carriage" booths but nice decor means nothing when the coffee is bland, the cakes stale and the service very slow. Sorry but 2 mocha's and 2 cakes should not take 15 minutes when there are only 3 tables occupied. Don't know what the young teenage guy was all about, maybe on some sort of work experience program but he stood about looking aimless. Having the cakes in the window might seem like a good way of tempting people but it really isn't when you get a cake and it's as dry as parchment. 30 minutes after leaving here I had to go to Costa to get a decent coffee as I was still hankering. Alas, just another "quirky" coffee shop to add to the countless peppering Glasgow that unfortunately just can't cut it.
Fun casual atmosphere with great good and good service. We had the potato & leak soup as well as the chicken pesto sandwich; both were delicious. I also found it amusing that they had a few board games there available.
Very cheap breakfast that served it's purpose. The staff were extremely friendly and gave us recommendations of various things as we were visiting Glasgow for the first time. Visited thus place while waiting for the bus B10 to the us to the whiskey distillery in Glengoyne.
Asked for a cafe latte just got hot milk with a hint of coffee. Over priced for what you get. Tried this place because I like quirky places, something a bit different, but was a bit disappointed. Staff were nice though.
