Hugh thanks to all the staff at guitar guitar Newcastle, absolutely so helpful during the purchase my gibson. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as always super friendly. Hugh thanks again from me and my wife who were treated so well.
Popped in today while at work. Needed some help with buying guitar strings and other bits of equipment. Didn’t catch the lads name that helped me but big thank you. Explained how to restring my guitar and Recommended certain products to get and tried to save me money while also being a Proppa down to earth guy I never leave reviews but I think this deserves one . Top work. Fixed my guitar with ease and sounds great
I dropped in the store on Tuesday 10.09.2024 in the hope you had some studio monitors. I kind of knew what I wanted but it was cemented after a brief conversation with a staff member that a pair of Yamaha HS5’s will fit the bill. He also helped me carry them to the car which I was more than grateful for. After a week previous of faffing about with a particular mix, I was able to spot the problems and correct them within minutes with my new monitors. I couldn’t be more happy. Thank you so much for your time, see you again soon
They are extremely picky about what guitars they buy on the trade it/sell it scheme. Then, their offers are truly shocking. Borderline insulting offers, to the extent that it puts them to the back of the queue in your mind when thinking about buying any music gear in future. They can't seem to understand this- treat your customers well, and they will come back. Give them insulting offers and treat them like dirt, and they will give other businesses their money in future. Pretty simple really.
Great customer service, really helpful staff and gave us a cracking deal. Highly recommended!
I went to Guitar Guitar years ago and traded in a 12 string for a higher quality 6 string electro acoustic, and was really pleased with the service. So when I thought about upgrading my electric, they were first on my list. I completed the online valuation and felt I was offered a fair price. I took in my guitar to the store and spent some time with George. He checked my guitar and agreed with the valuation - no dodgy car sales tactics, just honest opinion. George then got to know what I was looking for, I've always love the SG but never really had SG money. George showed me a great condition second hand SG with a beautiful case. With the trade in offer and some saved up pocket money, it was within my affordability. I was never pressured to go outside of my budget, and I appreciated the laid back and conversational approach to sales in store. A lovely gent named Dean then took me over to an amp and patiently explained the guitar and it's functionality. I was never made to feel inferior despite my novice questions, and there was no ego about this process. It was a valuable part of making sure I'd be spending my money on something appropriate. All in all, I've now had 2 excellent experiences at Guitar Guitar Newcastle, and I would highly recommend going in and talking to the staff. It has inspired me to practice more regularly, and I am absolutely head over heels in love with this guitar. Thank you for your help George/Dean, it now has pride of place on my wall when it's not in my hands!.
It was our first visit to this guitar shop. We were served by Dean, his customer service and knowledge was excellent. Dean never put any pressure on us to purchase items, he demonstrated the foot pedal that we went in for and let my 14 year old daughter play the guitars. My daughter was in her element in the acoustic guitar department playing different guitars. We defo recommend this shop, and we will be back.
Had a chat on the phone about my needs with the helpful & expert Dean. That call encouraged me to visit the shop where I bought my new guitar at a great price. Lovely shop on 2 levels with a massive range of stock to suit all skills, tastes & budget. Convenient meter parking just across the road too.
Paul Y looked after me well - I knew what I was after, roughly, and he shared in depth knowledge. I tried a couple of curveballs and he suggested trying a beautiful PRS which would've saved me money. As it was, his suggestion based on my preferences was spot on and I've left with my first American Tele. I love it!
If you are looking to invest in an instrument and want excellent advice and service then these guys are your first stop, not only do they sell quality instruments but have a no pressure approach and are musicians too who have no problem with after sales service too. A first class outlet.
