Fantastic! Rang up and gave an outline of the electrics problem I’ve been having with my PRS, Richie told me to come in and he would have a look. He fixed it within 5 minutes. Fantastic guy, very knowledgeable and with a lot of awesome kit! Highly recommend
Small shop but with a lot in it. I was a bit dubious going in but the guy couldn't have been more helpful. He demonstrated the sound of various guitars for me. So much better than buying online. Brilliant service and very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend going there. One very happy customer.
Decided to take a trip from Newport over to Shanklin to visit this place and glad I did. I'm sure I would have bought a guitar or even two of the old lesser known brands, I like that sort of stuff but I'm not physically able to carry them but I did pick up an old effects drum/rhythm box. Had a chat with the owner, really good bloke. Go have a look if you like musical Alladins cave.
Brilliant shop. Yes it is a small shop so how do expect the guy to hold a massive range of guitars. Always worth calling in, sometimes you will find amazing gems.

Would have given no stars but it wouldn’t let me post! Wasn’t even open when it should have been, didn’t even answer my phone calls or text message. Had to let my dad down with NO Father’s Day present this year! No wonder the shops are all closing down, will buy on Amazon in future!!
Rich at Volume One is an extremely knowledgeable guy and also a musician so he knows his stuff Volume One is an Alladin's Cave do not miss it!
