A small, independent musical instrument shop stocking an eclectic range of guitars and other stringed instruments for very budget friendly prices.
Stores have to be over a threshold size to stock big names like Fender and Gibson, and whilst this store isn't, the instruments in stock seem good quality.
The owner is friendly and helpful, offering repair services and guitar lessons too.

Brilliant service! Took my Strat to Guitar Shack for a re-wiring modification and they quoted me a really reasonable price. When i collected the guitar the wiring was exactly the way i wanted it. It had also been completely set up and had new strings on it, albeit by mistake, but I was not charged or pressured to pay more than the quoted price. I felt completely welcome at the shop and enjoyed talking to the staff. I will recommend Guitar Shack to all my friends

Owner was very helpful and I bought a quality starter guitar and amp here for a reasonable price. My only complaint was that I didn't find my guitar lesson very engaging.

I popped in earlier and asked to play an electric guitar I been thinking of buying. The guy working there said "of course" but when I asked to plug the guitar in, the only way of really testing the electric guitar in question, he said he didn't have a lead. I could see leads for sale and 2 other open leads hung up at the service area so he was obviously lying. Just a bit weird really. Shame really as I probably would've bought the guitar.
