This review is not based on personal service ,sit and wait or things like that. Everyone’s needs are different and of course so is how we deal with it. This practice at Yeadon is a partnership along with nether field surgery in guiseley. The Health centre itself has its own facilities and the GP surgery is separate.The main entrance is joint as is the disabled parking at the rear . Access via the rear of the building is controlled by the health centre staff not gp. Once through the two main sets of doors turn left past the community reception and past the two lifts The GP reception is facing you on your half right. Pre booked appointment if made can be signed in electronically . This is next to the stairway door at the edge of the waiting room . There are three ways of booking appointments 1 on line 2 telephone 3 in person Please note that if using the extended hours service you will have to book in person. I believe that there is a sit and wait service from 8am to 10am !! Mon to Fri There is also a telephone advice line. All the information is on the website . In the waiting room there is a small play area for children and patients are called forward usually by an electronic display board hanging over the front of reception. There is also in the corner of the waiting room a side room where you can go and weigh yourself plus check your blood pressure. All the doctors work on the ground floor in the left hand wing and the nurses work in the other ground floor wing adjacent to reception on the right. If requiring toilet facilities they are situated between the lifts and community reception . There are also good disabled toilet facilities. The ground floor is all wheelchair accessible.

Utter Rubbish ! i have just moved into the area and have tried to make an appointment and was told that i can only have a fixed day next week with no option of booking the week after, i was told we are not taking bookings two weeks in front by a very arrogant receptionist who gave me no explanation ( this morning 23/6/17 ) and this is the first appointment i have tried to make, i have only ever been in to collect repeat prescriptions and wondered why i have heard so many people complaining to the receptionist whilst i was i the queue ! now i know why ! appalling attitude of receptionist and the worst service i have ever seen, i am now moving back to my old practice in Headingley Leeds asap. ( what the hell am i paying my tax for ? )

Impossible to get an appointment unless you sit and wait for 3 hours like your waiting in line at a deli. I honestly haven't seen a doctor in over 2 years even though I have needed to. I tried to get an appointment for 6 days ringing at 8am to no avail. Some of us cannot sit and wait, we have school run and work etc. Anyway I ended up having to 111 to get the emergency doctor within the hour on a Sunday. The system doesn't work!!
