I just finished the art & design foundation year.nIn a nutshell, DO NOT send your children to this college, especially to do art and design.nThe organisation was appalling, and the support, or lack there of is even worse!nMe and all of my classmates were almost constantly frustrated because we weren’t being listened too, or respected.nThe photography students didn’t have a replacement photography teacher once the previous one had left.nThe head of the photography department is a FINE ART graduate!!!!!!!!nIf anyone stood up to the teacher they were insulted or given even less support.nThis was an awful course, that lots of us had to pay for, and actually did worse for our mental health than anything.nI highly do not recommend sending your kids here.
Offers a remarkable range of opportunities to people of all ages. Has very impressive resources - great library and excellent study skills help as well as really dedicated teachers.
A very supportive college with helpful and understanding staff. They will guide you in your education and give you the support you need, unlike a lot of other 'higher status' colleges in the area that will just leave you to it and expell you if you're not likely to achieve high grades as to keep their status up. If you're looking for a place that will make sure you learn then go here. I studied here 4 years ago and have had a good career ever since.
Very nice and helpful staff members. The best college I've been to, with the best of its Supported Learning Department. Perfect for students with disabilities and learning difficulties!
Went here for a two tasters, first off all the tutor for travel and tourism was incredibly friendly and a very nice man. I also had one for catering and hospitality, still surprises me that the college would have me come in for 2 tasters on the same day. The tutor running the catering and hospitality was so rude. When I arrived after lunch she was like ‘WHY ARE YOU LATE!’ Earlier on in the day I went in with a support friend as I was scared to come in I have autismand the lady on reception said she will pass on a message. Which she did not At the same time the group for travel and tourism said oh it’s this way. In my session I got a phone call and a voicemail from the lady as I’ve raised above saying ‘why aren’t your here’ I won’t recommend comming here go some where else. She also seemed not to care when I was asking for directions out of the college. She was like oh it’s this way you’ll find it, look for the way out signs. Luckily someone else showed me the way out.
