Tried a sandwich here and it was very good. There are a lot of different deli food provided. They all look delicious. Price wise is on the expensive side, but if you enjoy the quality, then it’s not going to be an issue. On street parking paid and displayed but free after 6:30pm and at the weekend. Bus stop is near by and short walk from the Denmark Hill station. Takeaway only. No seating area.

Wonderful to have such a great deli in the neighbourhood! The coffee was excellent. The cinnamon roll and the spinach and ricotta rolls were both great, too, though I found that one could use a dash more cinnamon and the other would have been perfect with more spinach. But these are just suggestions!
This is just the most wonderful deli, I’d visit every day if I could. I adore coming and seeing everything being made fresh by the wonderful owner, the staff are so friendly and the food is just incredible. Every single cookie they make is 10/10, their chocolate and tahini cookie would be my death row meal.
Unfortunately, the staff always seems overwhelmed and ill-prepared to handle the customer flow efficiently. Which results in slow service and a notable lack of organisation. I also witnessed a child touch a pie that was left in an open display without any staff members intervening. This lack of supervision and attention to food safety is highly concerning and raises questions about the bakery's commitment to maintaining proper hygiene standards.
The Grove Lane Deli is a storming success for the Camberwell community. With big boots to fill following the closure of The Hill Bakery, they have certainly cemented themselves as the spiritual successor and they’re set to create their own legacy in the area. The owners and staff are an absolute joy and they always have a smile waiting for you. The baked goods are superb, my favourite being their delicious cardamom buns which are heavenly. Their coffees are smooth and silky and I recommend a dash of honey to take it to the next level. I love coming here to sit outside with a coffee and observe the world passing by. Highly recommend dropping by and saying hello.
Amazing coffee. The pastries are insanely good. And the Delhi items all look so beautifully packaged, I want to buy them all. Always greeted as if you’re an old friend. Highly recommend.

Hard to find shops that contribute to the community on the high street any more. This one does - mainly with delicious pastries but also with lovely staff.
