Still the best place in my opinion to get chips from in Norwich.. Good value for your money if you choose to dine in or take away. Everything it cooked to order.
Nice and lovely place for food & bites on the go! Would definitely love to visit again, and did I mention the very helpful and courteous staff? They definitely know what they are doing and the food was awesome
My favourite Fish and Chip restaurant in Norwich! Last visited here the first week of December, the Christmas Dinner special was absolutely 10/10, would be happy to have it all year round if it were available. But of course, the fish and other specials are cooked to perfection! The takeaway option is great for convenience, but sitting in is always a nice and comfy experience down in the 'bunker'. Fantastic service with a fantastic atmosphere and food. 5* will continue to visit here for my fish and chips fix as I have done for years!
Absolutely the best fish and chip shop in Norwich, I had the Krusty Crab Po burger and chips, it was amazing, huge portion of chips too, we ate downstairs at no extra cost and dining area has a funky feel to it

Superb as always, and by far the best chip shop in the city centre. Lots of seating downstairs in their 'bunker' and a lovely atmosphere always. Service is prompt and friendly. Coffee isn't up to much, but I guess that's not what you're here for. Always worth a visit, especially on a rainy day where chips from the market doesn't seem so appealing.
It's a Norwich institution and any visitor to our city should visit this place for the best fish & chips in the city. The staff are as always lovely. If you visit this time of year then you'll get the opportunity to try their Christmas dinner. Chips, gravy, cranberry sauce, battered stuffing balls and a turkey sausage. Don't just take my word for it though, go a long a.see how popular it is.
Used to go regularly, while good they used to be better. They no longer use beef dripping to fry which is what made them stand out in the first place. Now as far as my experience is concerned it's just a regular chippy with a pricey menu. Food: 3/5
