Passed my test today, first time, with Dave and what a guy! I found him to be understanding, personable and his demeanour immediately put me at ease. We joked throughout my test even when I was kicking myself for minor mishaps. Looking at previous reviews I can only assume that people are not willing to take accountability for their test result! Thanks Dave, hope your hand gets better soon.
How on earth Dave still works here I don’t know! He spent the whole test complaining how much he hates his job! If you hate your job… leave. It really is that simple! Do not make it other people’s misery also!! He is rude, belittling and patronising. Not someone you want as an examiner. He makes no effort to make you feel comfortable, and I think he actually finds enjoyment in failing people, seriously it was the only time the old man smiled! His constant complaining and ranting was very distracting and nerve racking. If you have a test with Dave prepare yourself for the worst. Years of bad reviews, years of complaints, years of making new drivers feel so small… and yet he still works here. I would LOVE to see Dave take a test in the conditions he puts people in by his own standards.
I had my test today with David. I was extremely anxious but he really helped me to feel at ease. I wasn’t sure I would be able to stay calm today but he really helped and explained everything that would happen. He was friendly and had a calming effect and I can’t thank him enough for making my test experience a good one today.
Had my test with Dave today, and very pleased to say i had passed. He made me feel very comfortable and relaxed although i was extremely anxious throughout the test, cannot thank him enough for talking me through such a stressful time.
I had such an amazing experience today with my Examiner Steve, i felt so comfortable, relaxed and had an amazing laugh with him. he is the most amazing man to get for your test and i’m so grateful for amazing experience. Thank you so much Steve
