Such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere Food was tasty, only fault was there was way too much! Absolutely stuffed and gutted I couldn't finish it all. Worth a visit
Went for Christmas Dinner, food and staff excellent as always. However staff started removing Christmas decorations and moving furniture around whilst we were still at our table. We had been booked in for 5pm and had eaten and left by 6.15pm. Not what we have come to expect from the Grill, the reason we booked is we have always felt very comfortable and looked after on the many times we have visited in the past. Think we were last booking, apart from a group which appeared to be friends or family, and we felt rushed after our meal. I wouldn't expect this on a regular day, but especially when we had paid much more for our Christmas day meal. Disappointed.

We visited Grille in Barnsley on August 17th 2022. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were offered both the A La carte menu & the Mid-week menu.... both had lot's of options Steaks, kebabs, burgers, sandwiches, fajitas etc even Chateaubriand All the food we ordered was of high quality and was delicious. The portion sizes are excellent. I would highly recommend Grille Barnsley to everyone. The staff are outstanding & all of my party were very satisfied and we will definitely return. .
Myself and my family of five adults had a wonderful time and enjoyed some delicious food. The staff were attentive and prompt, they made us feel very welcome. I can recommend the chicken and duck spring roll starters, and I loved the sirloin steak which I had with chili con carne. The decor and cleanliness were of a high standard. I can recommend this for nights out, dates, or family celebrations. Wheelchair accessibility: Able to go from street to restaurant with no steps
Just called in for 5 pm tea on tender loin Tuesday. Outstanding food, great service and the brownie omg the brownie!! My 9 year old loved her burger and I loved my fillet steak cooked to perfection and the host was very friendly and Professional. Thanks, we'll be back !!!Food: 5/5
Great experience today. The food was to a very high standard. The staff were excellent. One point to make, go hungry. As they certainly don't scimp on the portions. Thank you for a lovely Sunday dinner, for mothers Day. Definitely recommend
Good service and the food was lovely. The steaks were very tender and juicy. We had a birthday party here and the service was quick and friendly.. Wheelchair accessibility: The tables were close together, so when wanting to go to the disabled toilet it did mean moving tables and chairs to get through. Not ideal but staff were friendly and helpful to try to keep any disturbance to the minimum.
Great restaurant, 12 of us dined here 2 weeks ago and nothing was to much trouble, they let us all order from a choice of 3 different menus, which catered to everyone's various different tastes, very reasonably priced and all food was served hot and all at same time, which doesn't always happen when there are a large group of people. Highly recommended.
Absolutely stunning service and and we were well looked after by Jimmy. The food was absolutely amazing would 100% recommend
