First time dining here after they reopened and it was excellent. Great new layout, it was cosy but not too crowded. Everyone on our table cleaned their plates. I had the steak and it was cooked perfectly. Will be returning if I'm ever in North Wales again for sure.
My friend and I had a lovely lunch, food was excellent, especially the trifle, quick, efficient service and very pleasant staff. Will definitely come again. Warm, welcoming atmosphere.
No sea view like promised in my £140 a night room. Child sized bed in room and small bathroom. Also found a sweet under my bed and the host was a bit dramatic at times.
We had a wonderful Sunday lunch in the pub. Service was nice and friendly, relaxed atmosphere.Service: 5/5
Really nice place. Had our evening meal here two days in a row. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Great pub food and nice local beers. Would definitely visit again if in the area Service: 5/5
Found a sweet in my room, staff were very grumpy and they got like very historical,I found very OTT,very overpriced, clearly aren't passionate with these circumstances and even said they didn't mean to buy the pub, also no sea view,Also were undeserved Four in a bed winners
Fantastic recently refurbished village pub. Nice atmosphere and a good range of drinks, and great food.
Had a great 3 nights here whilst working. Fantastic breakfast - zero grease, high quality ingredients and well cooked. Friendly staff and lovely spacious rooms. Nothing too much trouble. Restaurant orders finish a bit early at about 8 so keep that in your plans.
It's been many years since I last visited the Griffin. The pub of my youth. Now completely renovated to a high standard. The food was excellent and the beer vastly improved! Very pleasant staff made the visit worthwhile despite the sad occasion.
Fantastic pub, great food, great facilities, lovely staff. Highly recommended.
