A wonderful property to visit. The house is lovely and the furniture is as it was when Brunner family left it to the National Trust. The walled garden is fabulous and there is plenty outer grounds to walk around. The ice house is worth having a look. The staff and volunteers are friendly and informative. There is a cafe with an array of drinks and food. Would recommend anyone to visit.
Another lovely National Trust venue. Beautiful location and amazing it was open given the damage locally from Storm Eunice. The hard work of the staff must have contributed massively. Very warm welcomes by all the staff started at the entrance gate and carried on throughout our trip. Definitely going back for the woodland walks and what will no doubt be a colour explosion in the Spring.
We came back here in July 2022, 12 years after our first visit. This house has a complicated history, and there was no chance we'd remember the names of all the various families who had owned the estate since it was built in the 15th century. The oldest part of the house is the kitchen, and you can easily imagine the wooden beams there being five hundred years old. The gardens are well worth a stroll and there is an interesting feature called the Archbishop's Maze. On our previous visit it was possible to climb up a tower with great views of the estate, but that, sadly, was no longer possible.
Lovely afternoon spent walking around the grounds and house. House is small compared to alot of National Trust places but still full of history. Coffee shop reasonably priced and ample parking
A very friendly NT house and gardens. Reasonable cafe with fantastic soup, however service was slow and confused. A fun field with games for youngsters of all ages, including giant jenga and giant connect four etc. Lovely walled garden

Small house set in a large estate with walled gardens. Good place for a walk and excellent views. Small restaurant that serves the usual fare - homemade cakes and afternoon tea, hot food available at lunch time. It was busy when I visited as it was half term, and you had to queue for a while to be served as the serving counter is quite small. Staff in the house were very friendly and informative.
Lovely house and gardens. The guides in the house are very knowledgeable about the history of Greys. Well signposted walk around the area, lots of cows to see. Lawn games were available when we went in August, we had a great time playing them. Highly recommend a visit went with a 13 year old and a 9 year old, met friends with a 6 year old and 2 year okd. Small play area and a NT shop.
Loverly little place with plenty to interest all tastes. Plenty of parking and welcoming team were excellent. Cafe service was good and a good choice of food. Shop was a bit small but all the NT items you would expect. Good walks through the gardens, especially the 130 year old wisteria. Nice house with loads of history. Overall a nice day out
MAY GARDEN UPDATE! The garden is really coming to life now that Spring has arrived ! Beautifully cared for . The donkey wheel still not on display major work required and the courtesy buggy has arrived for those with mobility difficulties. The very old wisteria is a must-see! A very special place. The house has been left as if the owner had just moved out. Fascinating. There are also many rooms to see, unlike some places....and the gardens are very interesting, too, despite it being a grey day. Parking, toilets and cafe all as they should be. Would definitely come back later in the year!
