I cannot thank the lovely landlady more for our experience on Friday night 11/11/22. Upon arrival, we were offered shots for free and they really made our night for our friends birthday so special. The staff are so lovely and I would highly recommend anymore going, purely for the friendliness of the staff!Service: 5/5
We stayed at the B&B during a weekend stay with our Dutch Shepherd. It’s perfectly located for anybody wishing for an overnight stay as they explore the rural areas of mid wales, Brecon Beacons or even South Wales. Breakfast is very well presented and of high quality. The rooms are immaculate, very clean with amazing facilities. Can’t recommend this B&B enough, we’ll definitely be staying here in the future!
Lovely accommodation set in beautiful gardens - we had table and chairs outside our room to enjoy afternoon sunshine. Breakfasts were superb as were the evening meals. Kelly was very welcoming and all the staff were very friendly and efficient. Would stay again and would highly recommend this hotel.
Service from the staff was excellent. The uniforms are just plain odd. The decor is confused Alpine Lodge with animal furs and sleigh? Hunting lodge with mounted models of deer heads? Country & Western music? Or farmer-y with the odd country bumpkin uniforms? The food was fine, but we had a roast dinner on Sunday evening and the stuffing was rock hard, so it may have been prepared for lunch and then used in the evening. Overall it was fine, we're glad we tried it, but the marketing doesn't seem to match the product.
Lovely place to stay and/or dine. Very good hosts. Rooms very well appointed, however sometimes be a little noisy due to the proximity of the main road. But don't let that put you off!
Stayed overnight in one of the dog friendly rooms. Emergency light in the bedroom on all night is the only reason for 4stars. Next visit, I'll take an eye mask. Beautiful location, beautiful food and very helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommendRooms: 4/5
Steve & his wife Kelly have got a fantastic team around them which makes a gem of a place run smoothly. They helped make our Dad's 80th birthday celebrations for 13 of us go better than expected. The decor at this time of year was Christmassy but not garish. The grounds were lovely. The staff as I say were fantastic & made my weekend stay feel like a home away from home. I shall go back again
Lovely looking pub, cosy & themed for Xmas with all the staff dressed in Austrian or German attire & the menu themed the same. 3 of us went, unfortunately the Xmas dinner was bland, toasties overdone, the onion soup was like gravy & my burger was more than well done black. The coffee machine was broke too so we had hot choc instead which was nice. The staff were all lovely & they vook the main meals off the codt. Such a shame as a well thought out venue.
Had a great weekend. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Food was great as usual. Rooms were extremely comfortable. It wasn't my first visit and it certainly won't be my last.Rooms: 5/5
This is just my opinion The slow cooked Belly Pork was no where near the description, I couldn't eat it, saying that, the rest of my Sunday lunch was good, and the desserts were £8.00 which I thought was over priced, but they had spent alot of money on the outside space which is very pleasant.
