I had to send a letter of complaint after an appointment with Dr Redferne, she issued me with a large number of diazepam and then said "don't get selling them" initially I thought nothing of it, maybe a sense of shock as in, did she just say that? For all the good it did me I sent a letter of complaint anyway I got a reply although not in any way apologetic more making excuses and avoiding the issue. I think as she's a partner of the practice this has been handled differently where as any other doctor they may have taken a different approach. I don't mind a joke but from someone in a privileged position and someone I don't know, if I was that person I'd try and avoid that kind of situation to avoid any kind of insult. I remain unsatisfied and highly insulted, I might still escalate this matter to a higher authority when I have chance and I wasted my time complaining directly. There must be some awkwardness as I'm still a patient there and since having attended numerous times since I've never been referred to Dr Redferne since.

Doctors are nice enough. Reception on other hand need a lesson in customer service. So rude and when you make a complaint nothing gets done it gets completely brushed off no apology it anything.
