Prices at Greggs is going up very steeply and at the same time the fillings in all their savouries have been watered down. For example, in their Corned Beef Bake there's hardly any corned beef in it, you can only taste the mash! Cheese and onion bake again the filling is becoming sloppy and oily. In their Sausage Rolls the pork meat is becoming less and less.. seems like they add cheaper fillers like extra flour and flavourings to compensate for lack of meat. With their savouries, you are basically paying for a bit of puff pastry and loads of fat! You find the same with the other choices as well. Used to like Greggs but now very disappointed as I've noticed their quality is becoming very poor across the board.. Staff here aren't the politest either, as I find them quite abrupt and frustrated in manner.
Greggs donate any surplus food to the Winlaton Centre 4 nights a week which is then distributed through their Fareshare market to people in the community the staff are very supportive & friendly
Does the job when you want to fill a gap. Veggie options severely lacking when I went. Only a full tray of cold vegan rolls
Has a nice selection of hot and cold snacks, from hot pastries, pies, quiche, pizza. Wide range of sandwiches with multiple fillings, hot and cold drinks. Good selection of cakes, morning rolls, bread, baguettes. All the above and at reasonable prices, all served by friendly helpful staff.
GOOD. However, one thing I will say about the Greggs in Blaydon-On-Tyne, is they are quite light handed on the sprinkles on the star biscuit. -Emily
Handy savouries and sandwiches shop under the well known Greggs banner and style. Service is usually fast and courteous. Good range normally available.
Lush but if you are wanting to sit in store you do have to pay extra on each item which could be into the five pound mark if there two of you??? I think its greed but I do hope greggs stays as its lush food on the go
The pasties are going up in price but the fillings are getting less, honestly there's nowt in them now like.
I got mince pie and corned beef pasty.also steak bake over the years the fillings have less and less in but the steak bake only had gravy in the mince pie was just like thick gravy hardly any mince very very dissatisfied and disappointed
