Staff are friendly enough, but I went in early one Saturday morning for a sausage roll . Went into shop about 8 o’clock expecting food to be hot and fresh but it was absolutely awful. Cold and greasy tasted like it was left over from the day before couldn’t even eat it . The sausage roll ended up in the bin will never go back to greggs again .
Basically ok for quick bite but hot food never hot and wen they serve sausage in rolls or bacon rolls no gloves ….

Had so many quick and efficient deliveries, from the South Ockendon branch over a long time. For some time now though, the most common feature on their menu peak times or not is unavailable. Unavailable and again unavailable. Yet on some occasions if you go for a meal deal, you can get what you want. Even the foundations of Greggs, sausage rolls, you guessed it unavailable. Not sure what's going on, but one regular customer that's bored and time out !
There's nothing bad you can say about Greggs, All there food is fresh, tasty and good value for money. Love this bakery.
Nice place to sit down and have a coffee and cake and also there's somewhere outside to eat and drink in the sunshine which is south facing as well so you always get the sunshine there as you watch the crowds go by. Staff are very friendly and the service is quick. Probably the best place you find in Ockendon town centre for lunch. Perhaps try Tony's if you want a traditional breakfast.
The star was a mistake The two girls that work there obviously don't really want to be there , I do feel very sorry for them that they have to speak to customers in this way , all I can say is that The attitude is less than savoury Better off making your own sandwiches In my experience it's nice to have attractive staff that engages more with the customer But these two could actually do much better working for Avon or something like that away from the General public

Quite disappointed that they still don't wear gloves. Asked for a breakfast roll and the person touched the bread with their bare hands. Disgusting. Honestly I don't know how often you wash your hands but please just put on gloves
