Poor customer service, refused to sell me poducts. I asked the lady at the counter for mayo and bbq sauce with my wedges and was flatly refused, saying I'm only allowed one dip per box. I'VE ADDED A PHOTO OF THE WEDGES I GOT FROM A DIFFERENT GREGGS 30MINS LATER, to prove that you are in fact allowed 2 dips. I had to go out of my way because she wouldn't go out of hers. I find it petty that she couldn't just go to the back and get me an extra dip, even when I offered to pay for it. I will still eat at greggs, just not this particular store.
Staff very friendly, lovely to sit and have a cupper n bite to eat .
Carnt beat Greggs staff very friendly top notch
Fantastic Greggs, when ordering hot chocolate for the little one they proactively asked if it was for the child so that not to make it too hot.
Good food, friendly staff.
Grate staff grate food and nice and clean
Asked for a plain cheese and a plain ham baguette, as there was none on display. Was informed that they could make them for us but they'd charge us the same price as a ham and cheese baguette which were in display. Asked why this was when they were using less ingredients and they said it was because they were making them up for us. As there was no were else around and the kids needed feeding we said we'd have them. Cheese baguette had 3 small slices of cheese and no butter and the ham one wasn't any better. £2.85 for 3 thin slices of cheese and a hard baguette. What a RIP off!
This is not a takeaway or telephone service however the staff are that accomodating when i rang at 10:58 to order breakfast 2 minutes before they stop serving they saved what i wanted until i could get to the shop to collect even though it was to there detriment with the customers in the shop. This is an unusual example of what excellent staff are working in the Seaham branch as good customer service in general is now hard to come across. I can honestly say Alison, Julie, Jamie and another Julie were that helpful and friendly they are the main reason i would visit that branch again and recommend it to other people. IF ONLY EVERYWHERE YOU GO COULD HAVE STAFF AND CUSTOMER SERVICE LIKE THAT! A credit to the Greggs company, i will definately only use that branch in the future, it was 'as usual at the Seaham branch' an excellent experiance.
Expensive, full of fat food.
