I cant put more than one star or else i could put it… yesterday i had a visit in the outlet they had cash only. I was back from my night shift. I picked up a sandwich and went to the counter to get a hot drink and pay for it the lady in the counter said we got cash only transactions today. The conversation was ok until the other staff in the counter replied should we scream at everybody coming inside the shop its cash only. It left me and the customer behind me speechless i should have asked her to be more polite but i didnt. It was disrespectful and felt they were racist as I’m brown. There’s no bad i felt they are racist. The morning when staff should be pleasant and make customer feel the same. I felt the staff were lazy and as its only cash only for that day they dont expect more people to enter the outlet and when people come in they get nervous. I wont personally let myself go there anymore
At a busy lunch time on a Friday the staff are very very flexible and fast. Lots of choices of the full Greggs consumables. I was only in the shop from entering, selecting queuing and paying for 2 minutes, the fastest way I have ever been served only delay was the food heating which is understandable. Thank you to all at the Gillingham High Street branch.
If I could give a 0 star I would have. It was 8:45am on Monday morning 6th March and they have an entire shelf empty stating "A fresh start tomorrow" It's already a new week and a new day but no food that customers want. You can't call your self a shop and have nothing that the customers want. However.... there was a worker quite happy to stand in the door way talking to her fried that also works there, when she could have been in the back making a new batch of food. The only thing I can think of is Greg's policy is "if its not gone, we won't make more until its all been sold" Well this was the entire shelf. They had the Ham And Cheed Baguette, but NO chicken Salad, NO Chicken Mayo..... Absolutely disgusting for a Monday morning.
Me and my family walked here only to have the door shut in our face at 3:05pm, when the sign shows closing time is 8:30pm, no explanation, just, "we are shut" from a worker. Not great when open either, we took a 2min longer walk to a proper bakery "Boyce's", from now on I will go there every time.
The food is nice, but again the bosses choosing not to put the staff on that they should so they regularly run out of baked foods and it's very manic,
I ordered tea for takeaway cost not bad. I notice some people pop in.
Well stocked friendly service.Handy for a quick snack.
We love having a bacon roll and coffee in the morning from Greggs we arrive at 10 to 11 but the queue was massive. Rebecca was kind enough to put all my baking for us and really made our morning thanks revec!! Greggs need to give her a raise!!!
Love Greggs. Wholesome
I love greggs, it is so good, so tasty, so cheap, so convient and it is a wonderability. The prices are sometimes weird as it is £3.29 they could just round it or something, the service is always quickj and theres never a queue.
