Unfortunately, despite the waiting list for their services and the promise of great carpentry and plumbing skills, the outcomes were so substandard that I had to redo almost everything they did at extra expense - I wasted around a thousand pounds on them! Aside from a poorly installed new sink whose attachment to the wall was slapdash and incomplete, which they then left filthy with a rusty razor blade that then stained it which I had to ask them to clean and repeated inability to repair an oven door, the main task they had was to renovate my garden. I asked them to cut back overgrown vegetation and completely replace the 15-year-old decking. The garden was still full of overgrown weeds when they finished and they convinced me not to completely renew the decking with composite and instead to patch up broken planks - a terrible decision that made it look even worse due to the different colouring and even then they did not repair all of the holes! It was extremely dangerous, as most of the remaining planks were rotten and someone might have broken their leg standing on them. They also neglected to tell me about my smashed-in fence, which was the most urgent repair needed, as it was a security risk and people had started dumping their rubbish in my garden - which they did not bother to clear away! The photos below are how they left my place after "finishing" the work I paid all that money for. When I wrote to Will to tell them all of this - after they got their final payment - he just ignored me. I feel ripped off.
Will has done various jobs at my home over 2 to 3 years. They include plumbing, paintwork maintenace and tree pruning. He charges fairly, works quickly and I have been satisfied with all his work. He is reponsive and easy to relate to. When he couldn't make himself available for a job he spent 15 min or so giving me useful advice over the telephone at no charge. I would highly recommend him. Great Service with great prices I needed to have a dishwasher installed in my kitchen, they came and advised to move my washing machine as the run for the waste water might be too far for the Dishwasher. They removed a carcass, moved my washing machine and wired and plumbed it and installed my dishwasher the same. Arrived promptly were polite, respectful, hard working and clean workers. I have used Greenworkforce consistently over the past few years and I have never been disappointed by the quality of the service they provide. Their workmen are punctual, pleasant, reliable and efficient. I trust them sufficiently to drop keys off to the office when I can't be at home. The bill is alwars reasonable. Kieron from Green Workforce Handyman has helped us with various handyman jobs. Really appreciated his attention to detail, good workmanship, and that he also took the time to provide advice / explain various bits-and-bobs for the jobs to be done. Would happily recommend.
Absolutely pathetic. Gave clear instructions for a simple job replacing a tap and a door handle in writing and verbally. Both were done comically badly. They admitted fault but expected me to pay to have the cowboy workmanship they did sorted out. The tap spins around and completely the wrong handle was sourced despite multiple very clear emails. See images of what was supposed to be fitted and what was - it would be funny if I didn't have to pay for it. This is also after they made a mess of a previous job and I gave them the benefit of the doubt and wanted to use them again as they were a local small business!
Very good handyman service. I called because I needed some shelves to be hung on the wall together with some mirrors. The man who came did a fantastic job. He was very careful and polite. Well, he was 15 minutes late but that’s Ok. Overall, I recommend the service
I have hire Green Work Force a few time over the years and have been impressed each time. They turn up on time and do a great job at a very competitive price. I will be using them again without a doubt.
