Loved the shop but got to know it as it - and the chain - was closing down. It is very sad but they were just too posh and expensive for Redcar ....also the building was in need of serious work: there was a bucket to catch water in the middle of the floor and the carpet rip taped down. The check/plaid shirts I bought during their 'closing sale' were superb quality - I suspect I would have not been able/willing to afford them at full price. I think the chain did secure a new lease on a single location in Stockton - I talked to the manager of the store when it was closing and remember that is what he said.
This is a friendly menswear shop with traditional values and a modern outlook and staff that know their stuff. The items sold are of good quality and very well priced. Where else can you get decent menswear in Redcar and East Cleveland? Great for a new suit or jacket and all the accessories a man needs. We also used the shop for my son's prom outfit and it was first class and fitted my son, who is tall slim, perfectly.
