The Uber boat is a fantastic experience and great value for money at just under £10 for a trip that lasts about an hour if you go from Greenwich to Battersea. Along the way you can see so many sites like Tower Bridge, Big Ben, Millennium Bridge, Shard and London Eye. You can see all these iconic London monuments one after another and they all look brilliant from the water. Despite the journey being quite long it doesn’t get boring and there isn’t much waiting around at each stop. If you go all the way to Battersea you can also check out all the new shops and restaurants at Battersea Power Station which is also well worth a visit. Overall the Uber boat is an excellent experience for tourists and Londoners alike!
We decided to take the Uber ferry RB2 from Greenwich to Battersea, rather than do the bus and underground. Fare is £9.50 one-way for an adult and well worth it.nnFerry was fast and its great to see London from the water and get great views along the way. Journey took an hour but really enjoyable. The ferry does not hang about at each jetty either, very slick operation.nnDefinitely use it again the next time we visit London.
Staff are awful and don’t know what they are doing. Tell you that you need a ticket, there is no one in the ticket booth to purchase a ticket. Staff at the pier were giving contradictory advice. We ended up not getting on and saving our money. Nice one Uber. Will never come back
Short but really wonderful trip. Excellent riverside sights. Convenient transport honestly. But the service at the ticket window was not satisfactory! One that no one service and another stuff member kept stressing me to go to the next windowonly 2 windows actually. The most important thing is that her tone was impatient and impolite. Remain unsolved eventually…
A great location to visit by boat lots to see in the area including the foot tunnel under the Thames wich is a great walk to do.nThe pier is easy to get down to wear you get on the boats it's all step free access.
