Really nice people to do bizz with. The women are lovely and treat and chat people from a time which I could expect in the 70's. British customer service at its best. A really nice place. These sort of places are becoming rare. Alas the humidor is very poor, and many of the items are dry. But I don't mind giving them business. They also sell male shaving products like Bluebeard revenge If they did gentlemen suiting an bespoke tailoring this would be the best shop in the world! It always reminds me of a place my uncles and grandpa would take me too. It will be really sad when this place closes. A little part of history childhood and England will be lost, as too the lovely customer service. The women and very knowledgeable man are great. I travel over 100 miles to get this level of service.
What a delight to find this truly customer-orientated retailer. My problem lies only in deciding whether to go to the well-stocked, well-informed shop or order by phone from the lovely Anna who always remembers me, a nice little bonus. Never any thought of going elsewhere as there is no chance that anyone could surpass the level of service. To cap it all, the prices are truly excellent too!
I Found this shop on Google search. Only place I could find that did samples of tobacco for my dad to try. They arrived the day after ordering. Brilliant. Contacted store by phone about a query, and a very helpful lady sorted it out for me. I will definitely buy from here again, if my dad likes a particular sample I have got him. Many thanks once again.
In general an excellent company. Despite some problems with my order being incorrectly picked and checked and while the matter was handled reasonably I felt my integrity may have impugned. I accept as an autistic person I cannot really say this isn't just a case of me having lot of issues at the moment. I love Virginia periques and Greens offers some real rarities. And there is always a extra in the parcel - chocolate mints, a diary and other things depending on the time of year. Customer service is excellent, even phoned me when I made a mistake in my order. Havn't known about this tobacconist long but recently ordered a Peterson 317 pipe that at time was out of stock.Thankfully a lady named Christine e-mailed me to say they had got me one. which was then delivered within a couple of days.Since then have ordered some tobacco which again arrived in record time.Have recently spoken to Christine who is absolutely CHARMING.I cannot recommend Smoke-King highly enough.So thanks Christine and the Girls.Xxx
I live in Leeds so this store is local for me. I have just started pipe smoking and with the help of the staff and their web page i found choice of pipes and tobacco a delight, Prices are very good along with a vast selection of products etc. I would recommend Greens to anybody who seeks a good service and quality products.
