We had a service here on Thursday 21st April for my Auntie, Kath Atherton. I was dreading the whole event as we were very close but the moment I arrived, the place felt so calm and peaceful. The staff were lovely to. It's a beautiful setting, it was nice to be able to look out onto the lovely scenery, pheasants and birds. The lady who read the eulogy was called Ali and she read it beautifully. Thank you for all involved on that day.
My 2 son's went to green acres 4 years apart it's such a beautiful place and your not rushed like you are in the crematorium most of my family want green acres to be there last resting place
This is such a peaceful and beautiful place picked my plot and my parents in 2017 dad remembered playing here has a kid both love nature so ideal. laid my dad to rest in April the ceremony was well done professional and homely staff can't do enough for you me and the rest of family feel comfort in sitting next to plot with the wild flowers and wild life and mum telling him what's going on.
We had the privilege of officiating a service here recently. What a truly beautiful place with wonderful staff. They were all so welcoming and friendly and couldn't have been any more helpful. They are so caring and thoughtful, making sure there was some gentle music playing as everyone arrived, really putting the family at ease. We highly recommend Greenacres for a funeral service.
The most tranquil place you could imagine. A lovely place to walk in the peaceful and beautifully kept grounds and reflect on memories I shared with my husband who recently passed away. The ceremony was just perfect and it was a very fitting tribute to him. I cannot thank all the wonderful staff enough. They made a very difficult day easier to bear knowing my husband is at peace here
I had been looking for the perfect place to put my mums ashes for a while after discarding a few options I was worried that I wouldn’t find the right place then a friend suggested Greenacres. From the moment we walked in Anna was just perfect, we hadn’t booked an appointment but thankfully Anna found the time to show me and my two sons around, Anna showed us a variety of options available to suit all budgets, Greenacres is such a beautiful peaceful place, if you want back to nature this is the place for you. We were so impressed by everything it has to offer and found the perfect place for my mum, Anna talked us through the whole process so we know what to expect on the day. We were so impressed by Anna we have asked her to hold the interment of my mums ashes and I am reassured that we will be taken care of as will my mum when we lay her to rest in the most beautiful place. Thank you so very much
We recently buried our daughter in Rainford's tranquil setting overlooking the valley and woodland. From our initial enquiry and visit to the location, through to our final fairwells, to our daughter, we were treated with empathy by all members of staff. Whilst making the arrangements we were kept fully informed and offered advise and suggestions to assist us during this testing time. Our final decisions were based on our daughters wishes, the facilities/location and the assurance that the site is maintained in a respectful manner. Particular thanks and appreciation must go to Gina, Steph and Ian who made the sad occasion more bearable. Thank you
I went to this location today to place a plaque at my sister's grave. It was a flat piece of oak, on it was burnt Ruth, follow the light. There was a small wooden sun flower laid flat and a solar light. Within 5 minutes staff arrived and told me to take it away, I declined, so they took it away. I hope all the staff have a happy Christmas. If you are thinking of burying a loved one or planning your own burial. Stay well away from here!
Wonderful, peaceful place. You wouldn't know it was so close to a major road, so quiet and a place you can go to sit and reflect, and watch the varied wildlife. The staff are amazing and very compassionate, nothing is too much trouble. They cater to both weddings and funerals, as well as naming ceremonies etc. and even meetings. The building is wonderful and fits right in with the surroundings. You won't be disappointed whatever you come here for.
