Potato and Leek soup starter Slow cooked pork stunning, meat tender, tasty and top notch. Vegetables also excellent and dessert too. Classy restaurant with service to match. Bill for 2 including starters, mains and desserts see pic. Would hope to be back soon.
Best service, amazing food. We managed to get a table for dinner with no booking. We were made feel very welcome from the start. We loved the food, but what made our evening was the outstanding staff, Rachel a very young waitress amazed us with her confidence and Mathew with his great wine and food advice along with his detailed description of the art on display. Amazing food and amazing service made for a memorable evening. I can highly recommend.
We enjoyed our dinner in a pleasant atmosphere last night. The staff worked without fuss, music was quiet and nice. Special thanks to the chef for the amazing food. Highly recommended.
Highly recommended! We really enjoyed the warm welcome, professional service and great decor. Where else could you see dancing elephants on the wallpaper…
Great restaurant with good service. Food extremely tasty. One of the best wine selections. Shop has the higher quality of wines cheeses and other edibles. Worth a visit in its own right. Has outdoor seating. Both are attached to an art gallery upstairs. Returned for lunch still as good as ever.
Amazing food, the lamb was so tender and juicy. The red wine was superb with the meat and of course the crème brûlée was outstanding! Our server from Florida couldn’t have been nicer and we even got to meet Gabriel Byrne tonight, next time we are in Wexford we will for sure be going to the Green Acres restaurant.
This was a really lovely restaurant. The staff were friendly and nice. The atmosphere was lovely and we could dine inside with covid regulations. The wine was brilliant and the waitress well able to advise us towards the right wine. The food was delicious. The restaurant was very clean and the toilets were very well kept.
A little bit of food magic was had tonight. The tempura starter was so light and delicate but the monkfish simply shone. I believe the black sole whole fish if you can get it is also wonderful. Fair play folks. With staff down, you still pulled it out of the bag. Kudos!!!
An americano is a small cup half full, the person who appears to be the boss is only nice until you have ordered something. I always waited for him to pull out a whip to make the polish help obey even more.
My wife & I visited again Wexford City, Ireland, for a day outing, wednesday, May 22, 2019. We decided to have first our morning coffee break at Green Acres. My wife got some scones & jam with her coffee & I had a cheese cake served with a little whipped cream with Americano coffee. They were delicious. We sat in the cozy restaurant section. There is a good selection of coffee, scones & pastries available. Then we shopped at their specialty store as well as the Wine Shop. Highly recommendable place. Friday evening, May 24, 2019, my wife & I enjoyed a 3 course dinner at Green Acres of Wexford. We took our time to choose what we fancied to eat & drink. I had seafood chowder as a starter with a glass of Riesling white wine. It was well prepared & delicious. For the main course, we got tender sirloin steaks with chips & other trimmings. We shared a bottle of red wine with the main meal. For dessert, I got creme brulee & coffee. Highly recommendable. Monday morning, 27th May 2019, we had again coffee at Green Acres of Wexford, I tried their sticky toppy pudding. It was delicious.
